5inchRGreek - 5 inch Greek Orthodox Cross

Artist Description: To make this cross I use a mixture of techniques. This cross is a Greek cross with IC XC NIKA (Jesus Christ is victorious.) I used CNC to mill the design into the wood. CNC has disavantages too. Using tiny cutters can be difficult because they break easy. Also, these cutters won't really cut very deep so to cut the designs out, I use the scroll saw. Some parts of the the letters don't look right after the CNC is finished, so I hand carve them with small chisels. Solid wood with keyhole in back ready for hanging. Makes a Great Gift.
